AO 2019 – Quarterfinals Preview

RAFAEL NADAL – FRANCES TIAFOE – 1.04 on NADAL winning the match
Nadal and Tiafoe is playing for the first time on the ATP Tour and Nadal is of course a Huge favorite to win. You can get a good 1.48 odds with LeoVegas for Nadal winning in straight sets. Nadal has not lost a set so far and the best bet here is another 3-0 victory for the 4 time finalist. Nadal is looking for his second Australian Open title and 18th Grand Slam title this year. If he gets the title he will become only the third man in history to win at least two of each slam.

STEFANOS TSITSIPAS – ROBERTO BAUTISTA AGUT – 1.91 on TSITSIPAS as the winner
The 20-year old Stefanos Tsiitsipas won against Roger Federer in the 4th round and is a slight favorite in my book. Bautista Agut took down Djokovic, Wawrinka and Berdych enroute to the title in Doha and got the better of Marin Cilic in the 4th round in Melbourne…so the odds are even on this one.  Ill go for Tsitsipas and also puts in some money on 3-2 for the great 6.25 odds with LeoVegas

Nadal is playing his 11th quarterfinal in Melbourne. Last year he gave up in the quarters against eventual finalist Marin Cilic and took a 3 months break from the tour due to injury. Nadal has won 59 matches in the Australian Open, third all-time behind Roger Federer (97) and Novak Djokovic (65).
