Best bets Miami ATP 2018

Best bets Miami ATP 2018. This year world number one and all-time great Roger Federer is the defending Champion in the second Masters 1000 of the year – the Miami Open presented by Itau. Last year Federer defeated his great Rival Rafael Nadal in the finals completing the sunshine double for the third time in his career.

This year Nadal has withdrawn from the tournament and loses 600 ATP points on the ATP Rankings. Still, Nadal would once again become world number one if Federer would lose before the quarterfinals.

Best bets Miami ATP 2018

The very best bet is pretty obvious. Bet on Roger Federer in every match. The Swiss Maestro has a really good draw and only an injury should be the only reason he wouldnt reach yet another big final. Federer has a bye in the first round and will meet Australian Thanassi Kokkinakis or Calvin Hennery in the second round. Kokkinakis has a great potential and big game but wont be good enough to defeat the Swiss who lost his first match since November last week in Indian Wells against DelPotro having held 3 match points.

The biggest threats to Federer before the final seems to be Spaniard Fernando Verdasco in the third round or maybe Alexander Zverev in a semifinal. Verdasco can beat anyone when he has his day and Zverev have defeated Federer a couple of times but neither one of these players should be able to beat Federer at his current level.

The second half of the draw

The second half of of the draw is a lot harder to predict. In form Argentine Juan Martin del Potro is our main pick to reach another final against Federer (Delpo is 4-2 in finals against Federer) but guys like Marin Cilic, Grigor Dimitrov, Novak Djokovic, Kei Nishikori, John Isner and NextGen Champion Hyeong Chung could also reach the final.

ODDS MIAMI ATP 2018 – Winner

1. Roger Federer – 2.35
2. Juan Martin del Potro – 5.50
3. Novak Djokovic – 11.00
4. Grigor Dimitrov – 17.00
5. Marin Cilic – 19.00

Odds from Betsson

Our pick is of course Roger Federer at 2.35. Are you looking for a higher return Marin Cilic on 19 times your money is an interesting bet. The world number 3 and one time Grand Slam champion can of course move on to win the title. Novak Djokovic at 11 times the money does not feel like a potential winner at the ATP Tour yet. Also, ATP Finals 2017 winner Grigor Dimitrov at 17 times your money is an interesting bet. The Bulgarian won his first Masters 1000 title last fall in Cincinnati and crashed out in the second round in Indian Wells to Verdasco.
