Two teams that have been struggling in the opening of the season. Meanwhile, many thought Cardiff would struggle with their limited transfer activity and limited squad, perhaps not that many would guess that Arsenal only would have gotten three points in the first three games. Will Arsenal continue on their winning streak or will it be another downfall for Emery and the rest?

Niel Warnock and Cardiff’s promotion to the Premier League was a chock for many, including myself. The predictions before the season saw Cardiff somewhere in the middle of the Championship. Though, were we wrong. The “Dragons” from Wales exceeded everyone’s expectations and came second only after Wolverhampton. This is a great achievement but it might have been that the team overperformed and this has started to show now. Cardiff will find the 2018/2019 season really difficult and will most likely be relegated straight away.

Arsenal though, with only three points after three games are raising questions. Sure, the team played against reigning Champions Manchester City and later local rivals Chelsea. Not the easiest opposition. Even if the result hasn’t fallen in Arsenals favor, the performances have still been good. Unai Emery will need time to mold his team into a winning side and the victories will come.

The second victory for Arsenal will come this Sunday in Wales.
