Arsenal had a terrible start to the season but the team has been looking a lot better in the last few games. Everyone is sure that it will take time for Emery to make the team his after over 20 years with Wenger behind the steering wheel. Newcastle is looking interesting even if they are on 18th place in the league so far. Will this be Newcastle’s afternoon?

Arsenal started the season very badly and lost both of their two opening games. Even if the opposition was difficult (Manchester City and Chelsea), this factor didn’t picture the whole truth. The performance by the Arsenal squad helped the opposition since the performances by many of the players was truly terrible. Emery though has not rushed to include some of the new signings of the summer. This could, of course, be discussed if it’s smart or not but it will most likely be the case this fixture as well.

Newcastle, meanwhile, has only gotten themselves one point in the first four games. However, this does not picture the whole truth either. Benitez and his squad have also had a difficult start of the season (Tottenham, Manchester City, and Chelsea). Their start couldn’t be more difficult, to be honest, and their performances have been surprisingly good. Newcastle has lost all these games with 2-1 or 1-2. This is impressive.

As of this, Newcastle will get their first three points of the season at home. Arsenal meanwhile will have a long way home to North London.
