Thiem has 2 straigt semifinals in Rome and is on paper the best bet in this encounter. Nishikori is on his way back after injury problems and is 2-0 against Thiem. I believe Kei might be up for a small upset against Thiem today and there are some really attractive odds on Nishikori winning on BETSSON.

   2. NOVAK DJOKOVIC (20) vs FERNANDO VERDASCO (30)
      The 2016 champion Djokovic is the clear favorite in this matchup. Verdasco has had a good run beating 5th seed Dimitrov but here the reborn Djokovic will be too strong.

      Sasha Zverev is in the 4th round in a Grand Slam for the first time in his career after saving MP against Dzumhur in the third round. The 21 year young world number 3 is 1-0 against the one year older Khachanov and is the best bet here. Maybe this is another 5 set match for Zverev.
