The GOAT of the Winter Olympics is Norwegian Biathlon Athlete Ole Einar Bjørndalen with 8 Gold medals, 4 Silver and 1 Bronze medal won.  Bjørndalen is only one bronze medal ahead of his country man Bjørn Dæhlie – the most successful cross country skier in olympic history.

Also Norway´s Marit Bjørgen is the GOAT of Winter Olympics on the women’s side with 6 Gold medals, 3 silver and 1 bronze.  Marit Bjørgen is looking for more medals at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang and could be number one on this list after the 2018 games.
