Premier League 2018/2019: Fulham – Preview, Squad, and Signings
For all football loving people, the more derbies there is, the better of a season you get. Finally, Fulham is back in the Premier League and there will once again be fixtures at Craven Cottage. Fulham won the Championship’s play-off and was promoted. Will the former big club be able to stay up this season or will be the directly relegated?
Fulham, the impressive young team that took many by storm last season in the championship are back and they are equipping themselves with the heavy artillery for this season. In the sense of transfers, the team had one objective and it is clear that they are able to maintain that objective. That is of course to keep wonderboy Ryan Sessegnon. The youngester is perhaps the hottest prospect in world football. The kid is born in 2000 and scored 16 goals in the Championship last season (!!!). That is just ridiculous. Together with Sessegnon, the team has improved their squad and signed former loanee Mitrovic, Nice’s Jean Michael Seri, Swansea’s Alfie Mawson together with Andre Schurrle and Calum Chambers on loan. What an interesting squad!
Where will Fulham end up in May then? Well, the bottom half will be tougher than ever and the team will have problems against the top teams but the improvements made by Fulham, the will stay safe. It is even possible for the team to compete about the Europa spots but most likely the team will end up in the middle. 11th spot seems like a plausible turn out.
