The World number 3 Djokovic is chasing his fourth title in the Shanghai Masters and his 5ft Year End Number one and will get revenge on the Italian Cecchinato here. In French Open in June the 26-year old Cecchinato caused the upset of the tournament beating Djokovic 3-1 in the quarter finals. Anything but a 2-0 victory for the Serb would be very surprising. 2. JUAN MARTIN del POTRO (3) v BORNA CORIC (13)
Not as safe bet as betting on Djokovic but del Potro did dismiss Coric very easy in their lone meeting at the US Open this september. The Argentine world number four has the big game that will be too much for Coric to handle. Coric did beat Stan Wawrinka in the first round in Shanghai and del Potro might be a bit tired after a lot of matches since august. Maybe 2-1 del Potro is the best match play here.
