Djokovic is 14-2 against Cilic but Cilic won the last two meetings, 2016 in Paris Indoors 6-4, 7-6 and this year at Queens Club in the final after saving match point 5-7, 7-6, 6-3. Before these wins for Cilic the former world number one Djokovic won 14 straight meetings, often very easy. Djokovic won his 13th Grand Slam this summer at Wimbledon and is back close to his best. However he isn´t at the same level of tennis he displayed during 2015-2016 when he won 4 straight Grand Slams and 5 out of 6 slams. This means Cilic has a chance today but my bet is on Djokovic. Djokovic is also chasing history this week. If he wins the title in Cincinnati he becomes the first player to win all 9 Masters 1000 tournaments.
